We use a 3rd party supplied program to track site usage. This 3rd party, Quantcast, uses cookies to get a more accurate count of site visitors that can be gleaned from page impressions. Quantcast collects general demographic information in addition to page visit counts. Detailed information about what they collect and how can be obtained from their web site quantcast.com. It dosen't look like they are doing anything nefarious or we wouldn't use their program. We also use the basic data collected by our own server to determine what type browsers, what screen resolution and other technical data about our visitors' computers. This is why we built the site for best viewing on a 1024X768 pixel monitor, using Internet Explorer or Firefox Browsers. When more people switch to wide screen monitors, we will adjust our pages to insure a good fit. Tracking personal usage of the World Wide Web is an unfortunate reality these days and there is little you can do about it. If you don't like being tracked, you can turn off cookies in your browser. Unfortunately, this limits your access to many web sites. The excellent Firefox Browser allows you the option to accept cookies and then delete them automatically when you close the browser. This minimizes the data that can be collected on you.
